In Case You Were Wondering
Who We Are
I am a Father, a Husband, a Brother and a Son. I am passionate about learning, growing, helping people, business, and discovering and following my path. I grew up in south Florida, attended school in North Carolina where I played soccer at a small private college and happened to meet my amazing wife.
Landing in California in 2000 by way of a job transfer I quickly began running up the corporate ladder with all the accolades and awards to prove it and then blah, blah, blah. I could go on and on about the successes I’ve had (which have been many) and the failures I’ve produced (which have been more valuable), but what I’m really interested in is you!
I’m really glad you’re here….honestly. So, why are you here? What are you about? What to do want out of life? Are you producing it? Are you satisfied with your situation? What’s working? What’s not? Are you having fun? Do you spontaneously dance? What are you passionate about? Most importantly, where do you need help? Hopefully the content we produce will be valuable to you and if not, let us know how it could be. I’m glad you’re here and look forward to connecting with you sometime.
I played division-1 soccer for Towson University in Baltimore, MD until a nasty broken leg compelled me to begin thinking about life after sports. Having grown up with a keen eye and excellent drawing skills, my focus naturally returned to art and creativity. After a “Best Portforlio” award in art school, I was once again on an accelerated path to success.
Currently, I am the Art Director for a career-based technology company making waves in the booming Southern California start-up community. This opportunity has allowed me to work with the White House as well as a half dozen state and local governments to design career-based web platforms to support jobs initiatives across the country. I have strong web design and user experience skills and have been lucky enough to have projects featured on TechCrunch, TMZ, Buzzfeed, LATimes.com, and Forbes.com.
I also dig playing basketball, beach volleyball and golf, and spend my down time relaxing with friends and family while trying to explore Los Angeles. My main goal of this podcast is to carve out time to pause, reflect, and share information about topics that we finds interesting, funny, and enlightening.
